Alanna’s love for camp started right here at Camp Ruach - where she was a camper and a counselor for more than 16 years! She has a Masters in Social Work from Columbia University and a Masters in Jewish Studies from the Jewish Theological Seminary. Alanna returned to the Bridgewater JCC as Camp Director in 2018 and has been proudly in the position ever since. Her favorite part of camp is being able to watch all of the campers and staff create memorable and impactful camp memories in real time. Alanna believes everyone can grow and flourish at camp and works with each family to make sure their children have the BEST summers at Camp Ruach! Alanna’s children are also 3rd generation Happy Camp Ruach campers!

Rebecca (but everyone calls her Becky) has spent 35 summers across three different camps as a camper, counselor, camper recruiter, assistant program director and assistant director. Camp is in her blood! Becky takes pride in the long history of camping traditions and is so happy to be part of the JCC family. Becky’s three children proudly attend Camp Ruach and look forward to the exciting trips and activities all year long. A fun fact about Becky is that also owns her own party decorating business. Whenever you see balloons and spectacular decorations around camp, you know Becky is the one to credit!

Lauren has been a staple at Camp Ruach for 18 summers! She previously served as the Camp Operations Director planning trips and entertainment for all of our campers. In 2019 she transitioned over to Camp Registrar where she looks forward to working with each of our camp families and ensuring they are all set on the back-end. You’ll also often spot Lauren serving lunch and sending off buses in the afternoon. She and her two children have loved working summers at camp.

Jamie breathes camp spirit all year-long; planning, scheming, and getting ready to bring on the fun! In addition to planning all of our programs and activities, she also serves as the JCC Challenge Course Manager and Certified Trainer for our state-of-the-art ropes course. You will often find Jamie running around the sports fields, in a harness on the ropes course, and of course dancing at the amphitheater. She is our most likely Senior Staff to be armed with a can of whipped cream (or two!) or caught off-guard with a pie to the face. Jamie also loves being able to share camp with her two children, a camper and counselor. 

Amanda has been a dedicated part of the Camp Ruach team since 2018 and brings a warm, energetic spirit to everything she does. For the past 7 summers Amanda was the Yeladim Unit Head and is looking forward to now assuming the role of Communication and Engagement Coordinator. When she's not at camp, Amanda is an elementary school teacher, continuing her passion for helping children thrive year-round. Her own children look forward to camp each summer just as much as she does! Amanda’s favorite camp activity is swim time — it’s the perfect way to keep everyone cool, happy, and active during those sunny summer days.
