Peaceful Parenting Workshops – Rethinking Discipline

The actual definition of discipline is “to guide,” but in our society discipline has become synonymous with punishment. In this workshop, we will talk about why children misbehave and what the research shows about various forms of punishment. More importantly, we will discuss what DOES work to increase your child’s cooperation and compliance and decrease unwanted behaviors.
