Keeping You Informed and "In The Know"
With so much happening every day at camp, we want to make sure you’re in the know! Camp uses various forms of communication to keep guardians in the loop and part of the every day camp magic.
Companion App
Campanion is Camp Minder’s mobile app for guardians. It is used for uploading and completing camp forms, receiving push notifications with reminders and important information, and viewing camp photos. The system uses facial recognition software so you’ll receive notifications when your camper has been “tagged” in a photo.
Camp InTouch
This is the main camp portal with information pertaining specifically to your camper. Forms can be completed online through this site, photos can be viewed, and custom labels can be purchased as well. The portal can be accessed from here.
Emails
Emails is one of the primary forms of communication utilized between camp and guardians. Weekly emails will contain information from your camper’s specific unit head with details for the upcoming week, reminders, and trip details (if pertinent) and a week in review from the director with highlights from the past week and special announcements looking ahead.
Social Media
We love sharing all of the fun and magic of camp with our larger community! We post pictures and videos frequently throughout the summer and during the year on both our Instagram and Facebook pages. Only a sample are posted on these platforms and the rest can be viewed through the Campanion app.
We highly encourage all parents to share, like, and comment on our posts and engage with us directly – it is almost as fulfilling as being in camp yourself!
K’ton Unit Communication - Tadpoles & Cell Phone
Each K’Ton group is equipped with an iPad where daily updates are inputted and shared with guardians at the end of the day. Updates include highlights of the day and specific information on your child (i.e. around eating, nap, etc.). This app is in addition to all of the other camp wide communication tools.
The K’ton Unit Head will also share the K’ton cell phone number to be as accessible and reachable as possible throughout the camp day to families.
Email & Phone During the Camp Day
The Camp Administrative Assistant is available and accessible for all immediate camp questions or concerns and will assist with early pick-ups, change to bus schedule, camp extensions, and more. All immediate, pressing, and time sensitive concerns should be brought to their attention.
